About the Book

Astronomouse by Dr Frances Willmoth presents the story of the foundation and building of the Royal Observatory at Greenwich (1675-76), seeing it from the point of view of the local mouse population. While often puzzled by the strange behaviour of humans, the mice show great resourcefulness in adapting to their new surroundings.

The beautiful full-page illustrations by artist Audrey Sansick vividly convey the atmosphere of life on Greenwich Hill, and numerous smaller ones have been provided to complement the text.
